Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

I had two squirrel encounters today. One was early morning, a squirrel ran up my blind stairs and popped in over the wall to gnaw on a sugar beet. He was very surprised to see me and had a lot of choice squirrel words. Then mid afternoon another squirrel stole a chunk of sugar beet, took it up a tree, ate it and got the hiccups. For over an hour he sat in the tree next to me "chuck-wheeee".

Had one try to climb my tree the last time I was out. Squirrels freak me out almost as bad as mice. I have to chase them away. :/

What??? 'Tis truth... :gig

Swear to God this is true..... About 20 years ago. I was standing on a platform type tree stand.... And a Porcupine climbed up the tree..... At the same time there was a nice doe in my bait pile. That mean azz porcupine was at my feet.... Snapping his teeth at me.... So I'm trying to kick my foot at it and draw back on the deer at the same time..... Seriously hilarious.... Can't make this crap up...... :lau

Do they need a trim around the target?

Less women you know how some men are play favorites working on the problem now .I'm about to change what I'm hatching. Putting the boys with the SLWs tomorrow and running underground wiring to get the lights working off switch's . I don't think timers are worth it So I'll be clock watching next week .I hope seems like something comes up I need to take care of . The draught is getting worse and causing my well pump to lose its prim and always late at night which wouldn't be bad except its a quarter of a mile or more away from the house and the power company didn't mow the right of way this year . Today was clean the fuel tank on the tractor fix the draft and get the fence wire out of the bush hog . Still working on the draft have it fixed tomorrow . Then cut the blackberry bushes that have taken over the power line right of way so I can walk to the pump house and not get scratched all up in the dark . never dull here .
