How ya doing Mini?

Love that pic too!

Yeah I read they can live upwards of 20 years :th LOL there's several people here who aren't too fond of snakes but the grandbabies named it ;) :yesss:
lol mine is a birthday gift. A pretty hypo lave female :love

I may do the cackle hatchery pick so I can get a mix of colors. Any extra drakes can be sold to the local Asian we know.

I have had good luck with pekins during their first year. After that they tend to get too heavy and lay half as much as they did at first. Runners are very good, khaki are too. Ancona are very good layers. I've heard that welsh harlequins are but never had them.

Get welshies... Can't speak on their rate of lay, but a more entertaining, sweet, and docile bird is hard to find.

I will. A gentle one, of course.

Danke.
Thank you very much. I'll skip the Aspirin then...

Her breathing seems to be normal from far off, get heavier when I get too close, and then settle down once I stop moving. I'm trying not to bug her too much....

Her breathing not being normal is to be expected... as long as it isn't labored, very fast, difficult or any other exceptionally off type or drastically changes, then she is ok... like I said, monitor... :hugs

Thank you so much for the reassurence. :hugs

I put a blanket over the top half of the crate door, and that calmed her....
