Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

She's a blue brassy OEGB, her man is an SDW, so I may or may not hatch any of those. The only other hen in that pen is Harriet and she's kinda ginger red-ish, but a fabulous broody! Designated broody for this summer. ;) So that may be my broody raising pen.

But knowing me, I will likely experiment with some Cleo eggs when I start incubating SDWs, just to see what the babies look like. :D

I believe you can get something good from that cross... I can't remember exactly what, but she was put with the SDW's when I lost my brassy boy cuz jophus said to keep her with the duckwing family...

Well, you know me, I don't really need any more mixed OEGBs, but if I can definitely tell her eggs from Harriets, I know I'll hatch some of hers. :)

Isn't she lovely?

And I did get another egg from there today, but they look very similar. So I'll still have to watch them to figure out. But that's ok! She's definitely laying. :yesss:

:love
