Me toooooo!Beautiful!!! i want an egg basket like that!
Federal law allows for steel poisoning. Then filet the breast, marinade in Italian dressing overnight, slice, batter and deep fry.
Was having a nice time feeding and watering, until I noticed 3 hawks that keep circling. Glad I hadn't let any birds out.![]()

that sounds very peacefulTruth be told this is the first time I have been brave enough to venture out on the water by myself...But today is different from all other days, I decided to venture out and paddle around..It was nice![]()
I have a serious problem with the geese at my housethis is the 2nd day in a row I have been woken up to them attacking my ducks for position on THEIR island. And the 2nd day the geese have killed one of the wild Mallards and 1 of my ducks who lives at the pond...Does anyone have any advice to get rid of these things in a humane way? The options right now include lead posioning but that's not the stance I want to take but will to protect my ducks plus the migratory ducks that seek refuge here.. any advice would be great..
The problem is they are fighting for position on the island which is where the ducks also go for safety. So idk what to do. We found a wild Mallard floating yesterday with a broken neck and they killed one of my Rougen ducks but it was much worse![]()
I'm thinking maybe decoys in the corn field for the geese...I don't know...![]()

That's a wonderful idea actually... Hmmmmm, I will look on your link for more ideas, they are not laying yet but they are nesting and once domenance is set they don't leave![]()
Canada geese? Try a swan decoy. I know it sounds odd but swans are very territorial and beat the crap out of everything on their pond. Geese know this and will avoid them. Just make sure you remember to keep moving it. Sounds odd, but it works.

I have a serious problem with the geese here, too - they aren't laying![]()
Me too but Hubby just said he had a pair of swans years ago and they didn't scare the geese away ( he seriously popped my bubble) so I will look into other ways to eliminate the problem ..
