Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Dudley came within an inch of catching rabbit stew dinner tonight. :D

Went out to lock the ducklings, and two big rabbits were in the yard. The last one barely squeaked thru the pickets. :gig

If only he'd caught it :drool

That's a deep South lily flowered magnolia...borderline hardy here, but it hangs on.
so pretty! The color is so close to the lilacs we get

OMG, what a perfect reply Banty just did, :lau

Lol

That was awesome. Now mine will probably get it locked. But I said my peace. I'm done..

:hugs :hugs

I've had ducks off and on since 2014, and they have far and away been the easiest. I don't count Chrissy in the calculations.
Can't say I was annoyed to that point, but her attitude is rather sour.

Couldn't help it. Gonna get on the naughty list now, but I just couldn't leave it alone.

Poor sour don't drag him into it :gig I think you'll be fine :hugs

I try not to snap judge others. I've never had a conversation with her before.
and you don't want to

I don't think she is flagging any of us, I haven't been contacted at least and I have flagged her  it was at the beginning when she said it was nothing

Biggest issue I've had with banties is leg mites. Jace, however, seems to be more resistant than the others so here's hoping she stays clean. :fl
Haven't ever lost a bantam chick, though, they seem to be super tough and amazingly cold and predator resistant. They just won't give up.

I had an OEGB with severe head injuries... Gash down to the skull all along her face.... She was face down in the run with flies on her when I found her. Thought she was dead. Cleaned her up, force fed her water, and put her in a dark spot -- she was eating and drinking in 24 hours. Sold her recently, but in the year or two I had her after that she healed with no scar or health repercussions. I was shocked.

How did she get the gash?
They are much more resilient and cold hardy than many people think. Visit the Serama threads and they think they must have supplemental heat below like 40 degrees! Ha! Condition them to that, and that's what they need.

Not my first rodeo with this person; therefore, I am staying away.  What you see on that thread is consistent behavior and attitude on her part.

Luckily I've avoided most of her stuff, or just shrugged it off, but I've also had decent interactions with her. I've even agreed with her in instances where most disagree, but this one takes the cake.
