I'm considering the challenge of quitting smoking.

Mark & I just had our one year anniversary of not smoking on April 13th. If he can do it, anyone can!

I didn't think to film, it would've just been some snoring and pooping...thank God she never moved off her pillow! Yes I said pillow, the little queen wasn't happy just on a blanket and kept trying to sleep on me but was happy with a pillow that she could sink into. Spoiled rotten!

AHHH yes, that describes the little twit! They were all over the place yesterday! They played hard and then fell asleep about 20 mins then were back at it. They were falling asleep when I was carrying them inside around 7...long day for them. Little pokey slept a little more while outside, he is smaller and has to work harder to keep up! His wings are as far out as they will go, his little legs tripping over everything while moving as fast as he can get them to move and his mouth a yapping. Too cute!

I have 3 lonely eggs in that huge cabinet of mine, testing it out. It was 3 eggs that were left under a broody that I let her keep one day, because I thought all the other eggs she was on had quit, but to my surprise, one hatched! So I pulled the other 3 (they are on about day 14ish). No room in the other bators, so I figured I'd test the monster-cab with them. Been about 3 days, and they are doing fine!

But... this is really bad, because that thing will hold thousands of eggs.

(front thermometer is known to read a little low)

It was 3 eggs that were left under a broody that I let her keep one day, because I thought all the other eggs she was on had quit, but to my surprise, one hatched! Its actually a FB group, I'm not sure if they have a website, but I'll check.

Its bad! They raffle off spots, like 15 spaces for $4 each (shipping included). You buy as many as you want (can't buy them all though). When all spaces are "sold", then everyone pays, and a random number generator picks the winning spot number. They actually take a video of the random number generator in action, so its truly a random win. The seller pays like $5 total for listing, and ships the item to the winner. I already got in on one, but didn't win.

Maybe we could do something like this on the Games thread! Do spots for a little higher amount, but only the winner pays.


And I probably won't fill that thing with any more eggs this year. But it might come in handy at times, or when I get around to doing larger hatches.

I am that way....  prefer Hardware stores   hate clothes shopping...  Mechanical in that If I can take it apart I can put it back together and make it work... Up to a point.   HAtE to talk on the phone... 

Drove one Boyfriend nuts once because he had the bright idea of putting the king sized mattress up in the rafters using  some eensy pulleys and clothes line....   After the argument my parting shot was....  "That mattress wieghs more than you do....  you need a compound pully and an anchor point on the ground... "   His comment  "Leave me alone"...

Lowe's is my favorite store, tools and more tools!!! I'm thinking about getting a nail gun but I would be tempted to shoot to boys in their little butts...my mother's dog would definitely get it! She went after one of the ducklings and grabbed his tail feathers. Guess you got smacked (and hard) with a thin piece of wood...yep, she didn't come over the rest of the day.
My radiator went out on my car while the ex and I were trying to sell the house and get away from each other. I couldn't afford to take it in so decided I would take it out and get someone to fix it. He came out, I guess he felt bad???, I watched and when it came back he was mad at me and didn't think I could put it back together. Guess who almost crapped their pants when it was actually put in right. I decided then I would do my own mechanical crap on the car...well until the steering box went out. At 105 lbs it was too heavy to hold with one arm. Thank God I have a best friend whose son can do anything! I miss that car!!!

I love Lowe's, you could get lost in the rows of stuff you don't need but really want.

I got a nail gun for the coop build, it's worth every cent. I got the framework up in a day.
