Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

They like doing it . They got me the second time I sold there . Gary wasn't working there then .That's why I won't sell eggs there any more . Some nut from Georgia called me wanted Marans hatching eggs and wanted to pay me a dollar and a half a dozen they told him to call me . That was the guy who brought up the thousand chicks last year .:he

Gary wants me to bring him my nice hens, give him first pick, and then wants to pay less than what I would get there for my culls... :/

Can't beat that kind of offer!  Just let me know.

You bet! :D

RAV..... Can you mix calls with full size ducks?
My main concern is the Drakes.

I have been successful free ranging them together, but would watch the drakes... I wouldn't lock the big drakes with Calls in same house though... or divide off a section for the Calls... big boys can do a lot of damage to those little girls...

I just saw a documentary  on making chain mail.....  :th

My brother in law is into Belagarth (mid evil battle reenactment) and has made all his own garb, including a chain mail haberk (I think that's what he called it, looked like a ski mask with just one big hole for the face). He showed me how he was doing it and boy, did it look tedious and time consuming!

Hauberk, and yes, it is... used to help my uncle make it, tedious, time consuming and definitely need strength of hands I no longer have... my uncle and his whole family participated in SCA... hosted many events on his property, was fun to watch...
