DW would love even more of that. Every time she sits out on the veranda, it's a case of "look, that chicken is chitting" then "look, there's another one chitting" and so it goes. Rarely does she finish a complete sentence without such wonderful interjections. The addition of some ducks would be a beauty

I have a suspicion broody ducks taking a break would sent her into apoplectic fits...

I agree totally - I have mentioned the running commentary getting a bit repetitive, but she persists (as does my selective deafness ).
As long as she has her fits in the garden, away from me - I'm fine with that

I'd buy stock in ear plugs and start pointing at her each time she heads to the toilet and say "Oh, look, she's chitting" and "Look, she's chitting again!"...

oh lawdy, you know you can't wait around for me, but I appreciate the sentiment.

been a bit swamped lately, hatching today, but gotta go to work eventually. And errands. already lost 2 lavs, one looks like it got stuck on its back after hatching and died while I slept
another fully zipped and couldn't push out. I'm mad at myself for loading that bator so full.
