Somewhere I read that a double fence works famously two regular fences spaced about four feet apart... They cant figure out how to sight it and If they jump the first there is no room to get enough oompf to jump the second.

I have a small breezeway between the chicken coops and the call duck pen. The fence for the call ducks is only 2 feet high. I don't care if they fly over it, but they normally don't. Its mostly just to keep a walkway for me. But when they do fly over it, they can never seem to find their way back! I think its because the bigger space on their side allows them to get the air, but the 4' wide strip on "my" side is a little more difficult for them to comprehend.
