That stick in the foreground distracts me, but i love your subject

I know, that stupid stick! I took a picture that I like even more, a great picture of a broody and her chick up on a log, but there's a ton of foliage in the foreground that obscures them, ugh. The broodies have taken to all hanging out together with their chicks in this one area and there's tons of sticks and plants to block pictures, of course.

Now that I am chained to my lily pad there are no high winds or waves on the Pond. See what a stabilizing force I am.

Well the trip is over.....I had a good time over all.
My friend Dawn always takes the children of our circle of friends to the Dells when one graduates.
This is the last bunch of kids as some of our friends had kids later in life.
This year the kids the graduates pissed me off.... They went into the locker and grabbed the keys to the rental and went driving around.
They are so lucky they aren't my kids I'd have kicked their freaking @55's
I thought that showed no respect to Dawn.
If they would have gotten in an accident Dawn would have been financially responsible.....18 year olds can't even rent a car.
All they did was complain about everything..... It was a free trip.......I could tell the oldest was a big momma's boy..... My wife confirmed.

Chaining to the lily pad seems to have helped. I don't think anyone has felt demeaned so far today, and I haven't gotten any 'hate' conversations (PM's).

Her and Crash are the best mamas, never have to keep an eye on their babies, they do just fine on their own, lol...
