Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Lol, at times like these I'm glad I live up North. Although most bugs don't bother me, and I even breed cockroaches.

Spiders though, no thank you! I was traumatized when we moved the coops. We had to take the tarps off to do it and for some reason they were infested with spiders. Like ten or twenty spiders just came pouring out. I wouldn't go near them after that, made my Dad handle them until all the spiders were off, lol.
Nope..Don't do spiders either!

 They're a smaller tropical species that can't fly. I feed them to my reptiles and chickens. They're really not that bad as far as cockroaches go.
I do find insects fascinating as far as everything having a purpose and such. But most bugs just make me sick to my stomach. :sick especially roaches. I couldn't stomach it. My mothers family always had house roach infestations when I was a kid growing up. I'm traumatised.

Oh yuck, that would be bad. These guys don't breed in temperatures under 80 degrees, can't climb smooth surfaces, and can't fly, so I'm not worried about an infestation, thank goodness.

Growing up in South Florida we had palmetto bugs...Giant flying roaches that dive bomb you while you sleep!
