They do... but the thing is, they're not prolific layers or large birds...

And I seem to remember y'all sold off a whole flock cuz they weren't high production layers???

No, we sold them because from July to January, so seven months, we got maybe two or three dozen eggs out of 20 pullets.

We drink it, I make soft cheeses, fudge. That sort of thing! When I had a larger herd I sold herd shares and a few customers. It was fun but a lot of work!

They'd be purely for us, I wouldn't sell cull offspring as high dollar, not my thing. Just you said they do well with free range and avoiding preds.
