No need I got all the right answersWell. yea! I spent more time with myself than anyone else...So who cares what anyone else thinks....
Besides that, I have never been wrong, just ask me..
Peg is very vocal not to mention spoiled .Hand raised are always quicker on the uptake than others... just ask @WalnutHill about Peg responding to us, lol...
All judging is done purely by phenotype, that is all a judge can see...
There was a test???![]()

)
IKR ain't it great . I've been lazy todayMonsoon season in Tennessee...
Everybody said all I could think ofWhy am I always so confused on this thread?
Hog panels are better for goats . And you can do S&B Buzzards works pretty good . make sure you feed them down wind thoughYep.... My wethers were a hoot... I did have one female. When she reached about five years old she developed an udder but no milk. She was Nigerian Dwarf. And the smallest AND The Boss.
She got first choice of the hay or the salt lick every where she went they would follow.
I had four Three Nigerian Dwarfs and one Pygmy... The Pygmy even though he was the heaviest more like a Bulldozer on hooves.... He was the escape artist.
My next goat enclosure will be made of cattle panels. For ease of construction and their indestructability. Tposts, Cattle panels, Hotwire across the top and down low for Canine deterrent. Not only do we have Coyotes, but we have loose dogs city people seem to think its OK to let their dogs roam.
I am not a gun packer nor could I SSS... but I could capture and deliver a dog to the pound....

There's a country song in that I just know itHaving a mouthful of gin and a sudden urge to sneeze is a messy affair- just splattered the living room quite nicely![]()
Glad she isn't hurt . I guess I'm different about my approach to things . You can't take away her right to fail . Love your child no matter how bad they mess up .Don't be afraid to show that love .I would ask myself what is she trying so hard to escape from . Because she is clearly running away from something . With my son it was his brother and home life because life revolved around his brother . He was given as much freedom as I thought he could handle .And as much support as I could give him . Still he made mistakes . Teenagers have to learn the hard way sometimes . You can be harder on boys than girls . For some reason they rebel more than boys under pressure . Your facing a tricky situation here . There is no across the board answer . Figuring out the right answer for each one is a hard task . Sometimes the right answer doesn't come . However the part of you that is in her will rise to the surface one day . She just has to do it her way for now . And remember she isn't you but may be much like you . How would you want to be treated in this situation ? Anger begets anger remember that . I'm rambling again I .I am so thankful to God that she's ok. But if she ever gets home I think I might have to choke her! She's 18 but she's only had her drivers for maybe a month. I just sold her that car for next to nothing and paid for her tags so she could get a JOB not drive it to timbuckto for a stupid boy!
Is there a translation for that in the English to U.S. hand book for speaking English? In the UK, the term would be"pebble-dashing"![]()
I keep getting my flomax and Flonase mixed up, does that happen to you??? That can be really nasty..
Wish I could nap .Nap time...I'm sleepy and it's raining.
Catch up with y'all later!![]()
There you go with that teacher stuff again .Trying to understand what teenagers are thinking in general. ....and no I am not joking!
Trying to understand teenage logic is more difficult then finding the Grand Unified Theory!
Sorry to hear that. Can she put them in a more secure pen ?I second that. It's hard, but sometimes we have to let them flounder. There comes a point when helping becomes enabling, and then you're not doing them any favors at all.
Good Day, Pond Dwellers!
Just got another call from Mom. Seems something got into the run yesterday or last night and killed 4 more chickens, plus the three babies that just hatched on Friday. Sigh.... chicken chores are going to be so much easier this winter. I am now down to 3 adult hens, 3 juveniles and a rooster. We head home in a week - I wonder if there will be any left?
It's ok the duck lady will clean it up for you .I hope to be all done hatching for the year next year by Feb first.....
I am only going to hatch for myself and not sell any.
I am all of a sudden thinking I posted this on the wrong thread...duh
