Oooooh

With cheese and olives!!!

Cal makes olives right? What about cheese though?
We had a huge "which cheese is best" battle at the last school I worked for because the admin was from Wisconsin - finally had a big blind cheese tasting gathering... California won, but Wisconsin definitely has the heritage.

One of the reasons I'm not a member of the AC club :( I would be if their website had its own forums or something, but with everything on FB, I'm probably not going to join or participate because I just don't do FB.
Exactly the same here!
I am an admin of an Israeli chicken site that has been drained out of his members by FB. I as a teacher resent about the HUGE NEGATIVE influence of "smart" phones and social networking on my pupils.
Smartphone =stupid pupils!
I by principal don't own smartphone and don't have Internet in my phone.
I feel like the last of the Mohicans !!

Haha - I hear ya! We have a local poultry group on FB and someone posted some bare legged BCM pullets for sale. I just wrote "feathered feet?" on a comment and took a barrage of anger. So I posted the SOP link and the administration contacted me and said if I posted any more outside links I would be banned from the group. Not sure what planet I was on at that point. So I politely apologized and removed myself.
Why did you apologize? For correcting a mistake???

Apparently that particular group had a rule that you are not allowed to link any outside information, even if it is educational and completely appropriate to the discussion. I apologized for breaking their "rules" and left the group because their rules were infantile. :)

As to fish....

Fresh lightly cooked Salmon, or fresh raw salmon, or smoked salmon, or older salmon covered in cream sauce. :drool

Halibut is good too, nice that it is so easy to make bone free...but tastes like nothing. .... so great for fried fish or fish tacos...or some dish where it can be mystery chunks that just soak up the sauce.

Comfort food: spoon bread, giblet gravy and giblet cornbread dressing, or tomato soup made from tomatoes right out of the garden.... or chips with Pico from the garden.
For you! See this!
