Finally got dad home Friday, after only being home for one week since Memorial day! Phinger is healed, but couldn't get a digital fingerprint to scan on that finger when I went to transfer my Nursing license. Too much scar tissue.

Bisquits here are not sweet or have fruit in them of any kind.

They are levened with baking powder and or Baking Soda... With Fat either lard shortening or butter.... that is ice cold so it makes for flaky product after cooked.... add in milk or buttermilk...

They are served with Gravy, or Butter and jam... Gravy is a regional thing depending on what fat is being used.... I prefer Breakfast Sausage fat with bits of sausage....

To be honest I have only had Bisquits and Gravy only about four or five times in my life...

How are dad's spirits? He feeling okay? Wow, that's a lot of scar tissue.

He's now dealing with the reality of living in a wheelchair, with a wife that's a borderline hoarder and won't get rid of much. I'll move things to make a clear path, and the next time I go up there, the chairs and end tables I moved to the garage are back.

Yeah, that's gotta be a pain! Any chance of sneaking stuff out to a vehicle and getting rid of some of. I know it difficult for a true Horder to let go, so maybe if she didn't know you were doing it..Just a little at a time maybe?
