Tom and I went to HSU, though we didn't make it up here to see family much during the first couple years of marriage... (Yep, I'm in the county just north of Humboldt! Oregon's just 19 miles away...)

I got my teaching credential there! DH worked for CalTrans in Eureka right out of college.
