I made something the other day, Then decided i was going to do a similar one in black fabric but stitch a raven instead and thought of you...

Then I enlarged the photo...and I read the letters "dike" wow thinks I, on a button? huh. Then I look again and read "dixie" and think again... huh, on a button? And in such small font too...odd.

Then my vision clears.... DIME! It is a DIME!!

The dime is just to show the small scale. I finished doing the white background of it, too. Just have to figure out if I want to make a pillow or a wall hanging out of the finished stitch.
