Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Sour. . I liked your post in the training a rooster to be mean thread.
What is wrong with people. S m h

If I had replied as I really felt, I would now be visiting the 'land of ban'. My initial thought was to flag the thread. Some folks should never have animals let alone children - fact.

I haven't read it yet....But completely agree!!! What has happened to basic common sense??? :he. Seems like most people these days with animals and children seriously lack common sense!:hmm

I own animals and children and I definitely am lacking in cents of any kind.

That not a bad ideal at all . He's cutting laying space quite a bit . I have two nesting boxes that came out of a laying house that were set up roll away to a conveyer belt . I'll have to build catch boxes . I wouldn't worry to much about
carpet . But I would cushion the back and bottom of the paint well . And I don't care for lifting out the board . I would hinge a lid over the collecting part of the box . Mine have a thick plastic mat kinda like Astroturf only the grass blades are super thick .

One video had a full hinged lid that spanned all the boxes, one had individual hinged lids, lots of variations. Some slide out, etc. I picked the shortest video for your internet woes ;)

And I tested the egg rolling in a pan. They don't roll very hard that they hit the back end, but the ridges in the bottom of the pan definitely require some type of covering, or the eggs could get stuck in the ridges and not roll.

I also saw one that requires more fabrication, but it was basically a flat piece of plywood, covered with astroturf, with a little cage of wire on one end, the other end had maybe a 1" high block under it for incline. Easier to adapt for different size boxes, but the paint pans just look so much easier. lol
