That's great! Our local swap meet is the quickest way to get rid of roosters for about $8 each (which, I figure, is about what I put into them at about 16 weeks). I have never stayed longer than 15 minutes.

I sold five to one man @$15 each . nothing else under $12 except the one with the broke beak and that lady took him and nine more . I'm still in awe of the whole thing .

@Ravynscroft - have you noticed AC chicks are louder than others? It may just be because i havent had chicks in the house for a few months...

Ohiki chicks are MUCH louder!

@Fields Mountain Farm you have ACs too... noisier chicks than most?

The ones I have now I'm pretty sure are mix...And with momma... But they do seem to chirp louder and more insistant.... But they're outside so I can kinda ignore em...

That's awesome...(Yeah, working, smorking...not gonna do it...) I have sold more "beautiful" roos for more, but 8$ is about the going rate here. You did great! How many did you take?
