Maryland University, a generation ago, had a star basketball player, Len Bias, who'd just been drafted by one of the top teams in the NBA.

He & some friends went out partying one night, where cocaine was being used. He tried some, supposedly for the 1st time; it killed him. His whole life and very lucrative career lay at his feet for the taking, and he lost it all for a single night's enjoyment that he probably wouldn't have remembered whenever he came down, anyway.

What a waste!

Would love to visit but I couldn't even think to afford such a place.
Most I ever made was $25 an hour.
However I make double house payments here and it's less than $400 a month.
I know I know.....I live in a shack.
But it's a constantly evolving shack.
That's now a few months away from being paid off at least 10 years early. And because I'm a disabled Vet I don't pay property taxes.
The cost of living here must be cheap as I know lots of people who not only survive but thrive on minimum wage.
You can still find a nice starter home here for under $50 K.......

Starter homes here are in the $200k range. Every now and then a deal will pop up, but those to super fast and often for higher than the asking price. I am heavily leaning toward buying a smaller house on some property as soon as the kids move out...

Well I have just tried to breed my rabbits. It did not go to plan, lol. The female was more interested in eating than interacting with the male, and the male, who is young and has never bred before, had no clue what he was supposed to do with a girl. Then, since my female is still bigger than him and got annoyed with him, she started giving him a hard time and he ran off.

I'll try again in about an hour. Aren't these thing supposed to breed like, well, rabbits?

You put her in his place, right? I would keep them together for a while so he can figure it out.

No, I was describing a rick... ricks are 4ft high, 8 ft long at 16" long pieces... a cord is 4 ft high, 8 feet long and stacked 4 ft deep...

Yeah...... That is a face cord...... The latter is a full cord
If I asked for a Rick here no one would have a clue as to what I was talking about......

Okay, chickens are done (for the moment at least... Who said they were low maintenance??? Liars.) So now off to TS for some yummy wormer and Costco for everything else. That's fun stuff right there, I tell ya.
