Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

I didn't even know they used Teflon on bulbs:hmm

This I knew since I've had parakeets and cockatiels. I also knew that some hair dryers were toxic because of the Teflon thing... But I didn't know it affected poultry the same way. So should we be checking our hair dryers before we use them on our birds?

Oh man. :hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs
Our boys girlfriend is the same way. Remember my whole story he didn't go to collage cause he had to stay and take care of her. . we let her live with us for a while and then they finally got an apartment?

Ya. They broke up over New year's. She's been cheating. Boy is heart broken. Girl claims she's wanted to break up for a year now :barnie
Well guess since she had nowhere else to go it was just more convenient
To use him. :he
I knew she was trouble. But he had to see for himself.
I totally figured would be in the same situation your in right now I've been dreading it. Sorry to hear that Lisa:hugs

Most interesting part about heating pads. I realize many on BYC love the MHP, but I've never been a fan. Now I'm sure I'm not a fan.

From that article:

Heating pads: It is almost impossible to find a heating pad or electric blanket that does not use PTFE-coated wires in its construction. Since these wires are specifically meant to be heated, they are in danger of outgassing -- especially if the wires are old or cracked. If you need to provide heat for your bird, use a ceramic bulb or other infrared source that does not rely on heated wires.

Those are way prettier than mine!View attachment 1228566
