I used to write on the edges of the book too. not a teacher by any stretech of the imagination but doing engineering work requires that you find subject matter quickly... So there would be arrows and smilys.... Before Postits.. After Postits they looked like giant flowers.Haha true. I remember most things I read...I just can't remember from whence I read them! The internet has definitely not helped with this - It's way too easy to hop from topic to topic. Most of my "old fashioned" books are earmarked, highlighted, margin scribbled, etc. Ah, for the days of paper and pencil.![]()
No chance here...I'd rather have sponge than the snot mud I've got.I hope our roads dry before they freeze again. My yard is a spongy mess. Now I'm thankful for all the leaves I left laying.
I don't knowI'm hoping they get over themselves. Apparently before they were shipped they weren't even living together, just in pens near each other, and were put together for shipping. So they didn't have the best introduction the first time around. I'm trying a slow introduction now, with them in cages right next to each other. We'll see what happens this way.
I came home to a bouncing baby Bielefelder!! Female! (I only got three eggs from those yard slackers, so they all better be girls!)View attachment 1233419
I'm sorry..Well, the big storm moving in means I might not be able to go to the show on SaturdayWe aren't keen to drive six hours in a storm like that. Hopefully it either misses us or peters out tomorrow night early.
Actually like pen and pencil better then transcription to Computer.... Pen and pencil keeps me honest Transcription allows quick spell check and paragraph control...Except I would not go back typewriters. No thank you.
What's up?
