Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Egg update...
4 of the 6 goose eggs have baby geese wiggling around in there...:celebrate

Of the 42 chicken eggs, 1 was clear, 2 quitters and 3 not looking good. Those I will check again in a couple of days. The rest are all full of of wiggling baby chicks! :wee

And you were worried! :lau

:thumbsup

:woot :clap:yesss:

I had my 6-week check today. He gave me the okey dokey to go back to work on Monday. I'll admit - I was kind of hoping he would suggest I start out with half days. Nope, back to work with no restrictions. My student will be happy (I think). He's been keeping track on his calendar, crossing off the days until I'm back. (I don't know why. His subs are a lot more lenient with him...)

We had to go to the "big town" where my Dr.'s office is located today instead of seeing him locally because he wasn't in town this week. While we were there, I bought some mini-bungees and some canopy ties to hopefully use to make my MHP. Poor DH is a little stressed. I keep trying to explain to him what I'm wanting to do, and he just can't understand. (We have that problem ALL THE TIME. He just doesn't think like I do... :gig) So, I'll have to actually show him pictures so he can figure it out.

Sorry you have to go back to work, but it's good to be cleared! :clap

Wiggling away.

2. Bantam coop, not so bad mud-pit wise.... but as I stare at the hens.... the rusted busted gears in my head go clunk clunk clunk and actually manage to turn forward one notch.... and out pops a thought.... The reason I am getting so many blue eggs is because I have BOTH Wheaten Ameraucana hens in there, AND CROSS BRED HENS!!!! THE BLUE EGGS ARE NOT ALL PURE, BUT THE CHICKS WILL BE INDISTINGUISHABLE FROM PURE CHICKS!!! :rant :barnie  :tongue :he :he :he :he Remember idiot brain? Most of the pure Ameraucana hens were lost!!!! :barnie

:th
(I got some white bantam Am eggs in the mail today) :yesss:

Ok... I know.... Just another cat in the world, but ain't it cute!!!:lau

no slamming my head against the wall?

Maybe I should go to bed..... everyone else went to church ... I stayed home... Eldest child that wants to be a priest was up being reader... then 30 minutes after the service started left the service to go throw up.... he is now home... had to give water to the goats.... and is now thinking of eating rice and then going to bed.

Here he is at the reader stand before the start of the afternoon service.

Nerves?

Been one helluva day. Came home from work, took 2 ducklings out to a customer, had to clean my "spare bedroom" which has become my chicken-egg-shipping-packing-station and overall catch-all for all things chicken, that don't fit in the "incubator/brooder" room. Then took 8 cochin chicks out to another customer. Grocery store trip, got home barely before hubby, step-son, and granddaughter. Then....well, as you can guess, she has been the center of attention. :D

This is the older tadpole, she will be 4 in July... Or is that 14? :th
They are spending the whole weekend.

I am not that excited about white....

But bantam Ams are AWESOME! Hope you get a trio! (At least, many, many more even better)

I think the white might be easier to breed?
She sent me some serama and bantam cochin eggs too, so only 3 Ams. But who knows, maybe there is a trio in there! :fl
