Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

I've got a book coming today & I'm pretty excited about it. I don't know if it'll be good or not, but its a rare indulgence for me to be able to lock myself in my room & just read. :love Now if that guy would just hurry up & drop it off already. :rant

Its movie night tonight & DH is pushing for The Last Jedi. Any body seen it yet??? :pop The last couple Star Wars movies were sort of 'meh' so a lot of us are not super excited about it. Last week we watched 'Jumanji'. Jack Black was brilliant as a teenage girl. :lau
We watched it last weekend. . I wasn't real impressed to be honest. Probably my least favorite of all the movies.

But... it's still hot and melty when you get down to nothing! (OK, I have central AC in my house, but outside is yucky!)

 Were there any birds in it when it went?
Well, there was plenty of ruckus, but no apparent injuries. I kind of closed my eyes when we were lifting it back up, just in case there were any casualties! And, the best part is that it's now higher off the ground and so much easier to clean! :)

Gorgeous!

Sloggers :wee
good hubby. :clap
I like my sloggers too, but I realized what it is I don't like about reaching down to get the heel on... It's not the bending or the sheer laziness - it's the dog tongue - straight to my face the second I get down to his level. Now, if his diet did not consist, primarily, of chicken poo, I might not mind so much.
Eta: Monroe smh

100 With 15 percent humidity is decent.... as long as you stay out of the direct sun.

Swamp cooler works best in low humidity...
Yeah, our last house was just cooled with a swamp. It worked great up until about 105°, then, not so much.

Those are great!! I like my sloggers better than my other rain boots because I have a lot more mobility. If I need to do a quick spring after an errant rooster, they don't slow me down!

Geeze, I'm so tired. :caf I'm like a walking typo today.

We took DD2 to a 'family fun center' for her bday yesterday. Check out the sign over the womans bathroom. (*note: Mens bathroom sign didn't come with a warning.)

Ok, questions;
#1 Have you ever seen a sign like this?
#2 What does this even mean?
#3 Would you let your DD pee in a room with a warning?
#4 Why isn't the mens room posted as potentially dangerous?
#5 Should women pee in the mens room instead? Or maybe outside in the parking lot?
#6 If woman do start peeing in the mens room, will the mens room need a sign?

Seriously, this is just weird, even for CA standards.:old
CA... Stranger by the moment.
