Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Well, Sir Sour called it.... 6.5wks old & Baby Iris started crowing this morning. I'm betting you all already knew that & weren't saying anything so we could enjoy 'her' a little longer.

I would say that I'm devastated, but I knew when I put those eggs under mama that I have crap luck with this sort of thing. Still, I'm heart broken & the kids look like they're being torn up inside. :( The ironic part is that me DD1 were just saying how she was showing no signs of waddles or saddle feathers when DH texted me & told me she was crowing this morning.
:th
Well females have been known to crow.

Here is a pond critter! 20180531_125825.jpg

So far one hatched. 1 is externally pipped and one left that's internally pipped. She is at work now but hopefully the one will be hatched when she gets home! :fl
:fl:fl:fl
That'd get you a ticket here. You do that running the defroster full blast before the glass had a chance to warm up a little bit?
Nope, I know better!:D
A pebble flew out from under a truck in front of me and hit it. Started out just a small crack but has grown. Not a problem here as far as tickets. It needs replaced but it needs tires more at the moment so saving back for those.

The problem is you won't be able to see what you're about to hit when your "maypop" tires lose traction on those wet mountain roads y'all seem to be so fond of lately.

Its really not as bad as looks in the pic. She had the phone up close. But the tread on the "maypop" tires is getting to the "may not get traction" if the car ahead looses control on these wet mountain roads ...
