Found two wooly bear caterpillars today one appears dead, the other is moving. Why are they out when it's been so cold? They love to be on the driveway and I always scoop them up. Years and years ago, my father ran over my son's favorite - he called Kimmy.

I thought maybe we could rescue him but, all his internal fluids had run out. Couldn't find another so we couldn't do a transfusion. Thanks to that my son stopped believing I was a miracle worker.I got downgraded to ordinary human

The prep for my end of Thanksgiving dinner is done. We leave at 2:30 for daughter's house. I once read an elderly lady's recommendations for good cooking for a holiday : Fresh vegetables, lots of butter, and a ream of paper towels. How true is that.
