Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

29 here. I’m staying home to nurse my cold/flu, and be pathetic. :hit
Im so sorry your sick! I hope it goes away soon! :hugs:hugs:fl
Oh, WV! I hope you feel better soon!!

Raining here. And we're all still looking up at those blackened hills praying they'll stay put! Honestly I don't think our place is in too much danger - hopefully so.

Lost my only remaining Marans rooster, so WV, I may be hitting you up for a cockerel. Or, I may just be throwing in the towel on that breed. I did find replacement boys for my 55 that was eaten. The guy I sold my spares to at our swap still had two of them, so I bought them back. :)
Prayin they stay put too! :fl:hugs
Glad you found a replacement roo! :love

"Hold my beer, & watch this" :D
So glad my boys don't do any of that!

Kid 3 though.... I can see him boozing a bit once he gets "off leash". He has great sense.... but because of the no fear- immortality thing... who knows what he will do. :old

We shall have to wait and see... I think the brain starts to be sensible around 35 to 45. :lau

If you make it that long.

Afternoon Ponders!!! Looks like I've not been the only one a bit too busy to stop by my lily pad.
Things are finally settling into quiet winter mode here. We went to Nueske's today. We needed to restock for the winter after the deer hunters and the daughter family cleaned us out. One of my favorite rides. The journey is as nice as the destination.
I need to get at dragging the decorations out. Every year I seem to get at it just a bit later. I used to literally decorate everything and I was so meticulous about wrapping the packages it would take me a week. I had such a way with ribbon loops people would beg me to decorate their packages for their "special someone" for them. Now every year our decorations get a bit less and my creche' collection has shrunk but the most beautiful and meaningful ones still take center stage.
