You probably got the Axis, then; same gun I have. When I tried to shoot mine in the stock trigger was too heavy for me. I wasn't that far out of my battle with Shingles, which screwed up my sense of touch in the right hand; couldn't tell how much pressure I was putting on the trigger. I want to say the stock trigger was 4 lbs. I ordered a Timney trigger right away, swapped it with the original with the very good included directions, set it at 2.5-3lbs., and haven't thought about it since. Really sweet gun.

I don't recall how much the Timney cost me, but I'm pretty sure it was nowhere near $100.

Yep it’s the Axis. I’m going to shoot it tomorrow, then we’ll decide whether it needs any adjustments or not. Glad to hear you like yours. This one is exactly like my Savage .223 (it’s an older Edge, pre-Axis model) as far as operation, and it has awesome reviews, so I’m sure I’ll love it.

And the kohliva, the memorial food thing, that we did on Sunday for my dad... his 6 months. I had eldest make it, it was his first time, I think he did a good job. The white thing with the candle on the tray.

Al, I love that picture of the 5 Goofs! (And all the other ones you have shared yesterday and today.) The one of the outside of your church could be a picture postcard, it's so pretty.
