Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

We never got the 14" + inches they called for.... Got about 6. Then it started to rain...I plowed all my neighors out yesterday... Didn't do my place... Now I'm screwed as out turned to sloppy slush and now is frozen and rough... Neighbors look okay though... My anyways.... Now it's snowing and blowing and nasty....
We got about a foot. Still blowing and drifting. Lows to get to -15 tonight.

Two kinds here; the one mentioned above and Cork Oak.

I've made some lovely lamps with Cork Oak.
There are several ribbon woods on my property they shed this lovely red colored bark.. I am thinking some sort of woven wood baskets or wall hangings of sorts. I know the Native Americans made baskets from it. It also has Anhalgesic qualities so the left overs can be made into tea for body aches....

Baby, it's cold outside! Its' 5* right now, with a windchill of -18. I know, Phil, it's balmy by your standards, but it was 33* here yesterday morning! I haven't had time to adjust! We have officially entered the, "It takes more time for me to bundlel up to go outside than I actually spend out there" season. One frozen egg so far today.
It's CRAP here now..... Snowing sideways..... But we are at 19 degrees right now.... God knows what the freaking windchill is though.
I decided not to plow till tomorrow.....
