My dad bought me one... a little trilobite. He said it was the perfect pet.

Who BUYS a pet rock? Your supposed to make them. That takes all the fun out of it.

I used to have a few fossil rocks. Don't know what ever happened to them

They are the perfect pet.... as long as you don't smash them with a hammer...

They need no food or water (but I do water mine on occasion, to rinse off dust...makes them shiny)

And they dont complain if you DO pet them, or if you do NOT pet them

The never complain, they just wait faithfully for you to return.

Also...no poop.

I used to have a few fossil rocks. Don't know what ever happened to them

I had a small one that looked like it had been part of a glazed brick, dark brown, smooth & shiny, with the imprint of a ribbed seashell in it. Had that thing forever. Kept it in my top dresser drawer. Somewhere along the line it grew legs & got gone.
