Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

We can get food delivered to Camp and home. It's all shipped via UPS. If UPS comes to you, you could get groceries delivered, too.

Fine... since we're celebrating your birthday, I"ll do the dishes.

Being careful is good. Don't want to dislocate that bugger. That would hurt! Glad you're healing so well. It's amazing what a difference it makes, isn't it?
Ok heck yeah... Way better.
UPS comes to the store here.
So I guess that kinda defeats the purpose.

BEAUTIFUL MORNING PONDITES!!!
90's????? The horror!!!! It hit the low 70's here yesterday and I nearly barbecued finishing the veggie planting. Only salvation was the constant cooling 35+ mph winds that were often blowing in just the right direction to totally void any protection from our woods (aka directly up our dirt road, picking up a lot of the fine sandy soil from the potato fields to our south along the way, with particularly strong gusts turning the air the color of freshly tanned leather that you could literally taste). My poor little plants took quite a beating but all look happily upright this morning.
Feeling a bit sore this morning (and "the warden" has already asked what I plan on doing). It's supposed to be even hotter with less wind so today it's just some poop scooping from the coop this morning, the few remaining plants into the garden and getting my cooking herbs nestled into the planter that my warden mounted on the back porch railing for me yesterday.
Then, I think I'm going to give the body a break, curl up in that LazyBoy on the back porch with the book I've been trying to finish forever, watch those amazing little hummingbirds come to feeders and flowerpots I've hung up just for them and listen to my chooks purr and chitter happily as they sunbathe on the steps, which they do every time they know I'm on the porch, secure in the knowledge I'm there to protect them and likely in anticipation of the treat that will sooner or later come flying over the gate. They have me so well trained.
I know... We got mid seventies as well.
It's funny how hot that feels..... But to be honest with you I really enjoyed it. Last winter was just so long I'm gonna savor the few hot days we get this year. Can't wait to enjoy a cookie at sunset next to a bonfire..... Listen to the frogs as twilight takes hold....

Is it wrong to dislike long-winded, know-it-all comments on my article? Like, you missed the point of the thing, dude.
I've been lucky I guess. Most of the comments my articles have received have been sensible and positive.
The article section is a terrible mess though. I often look to see what new stuff has been submitted and end up having to filter out stuff that are in fact questions, endless stuff about the various role play games running here and of course, the inevitable how I built my coop stuff.

There is no way I could afford one of the heavy duty log splitters. I expect there will come a time when I can no longer split with an axe, but I'm not there yet.:)
Between the various stoves and buildings we burn around 8 tons each winter. Fortunately some of that is delivered cut and split.
I hand-split wood for years. Not all of it, of course, but if you drop a mature tree, you'll eventually have to deal with something too big to handle. Even wood that's cut, split & delivered usually has it's share. I never had a splitter here @ the house for years, so whatever needed splitting when I got it home was handled with mauls & wedges. It was that way 'til I tore a rotator.
