As a parent that's all I can hope for. I knew mixing my DNA with DH's was gonna be trouble, but so far so good. Maybe it skips a generation.

the car repair guys on NPR retired a few years ago and one of the brothers has since passed, but they use to say at the end of the show don't drive like my brother and the other would reply the same, for a while it was my brother or my sister until she put her foot down on that!

So anyways guys... Yesterday morning I was out behind the house working on my garage project when all of a sudden I helicopter started circling my house..... Well first thing I thought of was they were after meth head Derrick...... But out of caution I started to move those couple of "medicinal" plants I had sitting behind my camper....(basically out of sight).... Cuz I didn't want to get caught up if the whole deal if the cops had to go through my yard.
Even though it's legal in this state.
After a minute I realized they were circling my house..... So I told the wife ... Who said "do you think they are there because we have to many ducks?"
After about 20 minutes if then eating her fuel circling my house with helicopters the cops show up.
The officer asked. "So you like to grow stuff, eh?"
I said yeah you wanna check out my garden?
Anyhow... After everything was said in done he apologized for having to pull my plants because I had then in an unsecured location..... He asked if I moved any and I said yeah I moved one (the biggest one) into the shed..... The uniform guy said we need to pull that one too.... The drug enforcement officer said no he felt that was secured.... The uniform guy said but he moved it.... And with a sort of wink and a nod the drug guy said I didn't see him.... And that this wasnt exactly the crime of the century here!
And he wasn't going to even go in my house.
We B.S.'d for a few minutes and I really got along good with them . He told me from now on to keep my plants inside the fence and I would be fine.
Shook his hand and he left......
They next went to another person's house who is considered a prominent citizen. He ended up getting his house searched and hauled up to town....I figure his wife made a stink about the whole deal and pissed the cops off .....

Now you know how they get their herbs.
