Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Really I'm kinda worried about my wife.
She's lost a lot of weight in a hurry.
She is fighting with me about it but it's real noticable.
She says it's cuz she's running around and not eating which may be. But still it's really rapid.
To her credit she is in the manic phase right now. Which is crazy in itself is like she's speeding around she'll run around and clean house till 3a.m. crash for a few hours and get up and do it again. Don't know but as l
Fast as she's going house is still cluttered.... She's like a hamster on a wheel..... It's been like this since she upped her dose of Wellbutrin.

Well folks, did you wave bye bye to summer? We had two full nights of northern lights and today when we went to town you could see the first reds and purples on the trees and hints that we will be in full color in a short time. Both of these are sure signs up here that summer has packed it's bags and headed south with the tourists, sigh.
I have to say, I prefer Autumn to summer here. Where I live most of the woodland is an evergreen oak and pine mix so the view stays green for the whole year. Autumn does put other colours in the woodland, some beech trees for example and it looks lovely. Most of all, when temperatures drop below the 80' F I can breathe again.:)

Spash! Paddle, paddle, paddle... Brr! The water is feeling a bit brisk this evening. Just checking in before I go get ready to go back to school tomorrow. Looking forward to it, in a way. I have my one to one student in the morning (this will be our 8th year together), and will be helping in 6th grade with grammar and 5th grade with spelling in the afternoon. It should be fun. Hope everyone had a good long weekend!
Got an opening for me? I could do with some spelling and grammar lessons.

I could be totally content to live in a place where it was always autumn.

Good afternoon pond!

I used my day off today to set up a nice little feeding station for the wild birds here. I got a four hook Shepherd's hook type thing from my work on clearance for a good price. Now I just have to wait for the birds to find it :)

My birds are doing well too. I'm just putting the finishing touches on dividing out a section of the emu run, and then I'm going to move the 'babies' in there and let Ciara meet them, so we'll see how that goes.

Anyway... had to go to the DMV to get a new title...

had to find the insurance (which had lapsed..back in May...... :he my sister's job, and she forgot) get the insurance started back up, get an insurance card

Had to call the lawyer to get papers sent to me that show that the me that I am is authorized to be a representative of the limited partnership that owns the Jeep...:tongue

Had to move kid 3s doctor appointments so we can make the 2 hour one way drive to grab the car... after paying the huge towing fee and moderate per day storage fee...

The ko shamos are good! I have some chicks growing out now :) One little cockerel chick is especially friendly. He flew out of the brooder the other day and I didn't realize he'd done it until I was bent down feeding the brahmas and spotted him. He'd come running over to hang around my feet. So I picked him up and he snuggled right into my hand, happy as can be.

Sure! Not sure how you're going to fit in with a bunch of 6th graders, but you can try.
