Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Yeah, but like Whites said, she didn’t say there’d be so many.

How are you feeling Whites? Hanging in there I hope! :fl:hugs
So-so. Guts been messed up since the 1st chemo treatment, from one extreme to the other. Supposed to have another treatment tomorrow. Had to skip the last one 'cause white blood cells were too low due to one of the chemo meds. Does that sound like an endless loop designed to fill the medical coffers, or is it just my imagination?

Hair started falling out last week. Got so bad I said H3LL with it & shaved off what was left a little bit ago. I was told by one doctor that I wouldn't lose my hair, that I probably wouldn't by another, and that I would by another! I can't trust any of them anymore.

Other than that, everything's just peachy!

This new luxury vinyl plank. :idunno 100% waterproof, but looks good. Clicks together super solid so water won't get under...but even if it does...it doesn't matter. So yeah...if I had a drain in the floor I could hose it off.

Looks nice...

Yeah... well... we already did most of the prep... the declutter and cleaning :sick :barnie that was horrid.

All he really needs to do is cut and place... but WOW...

Now that the horrid carpet is up... I notice that... the kitchen cabinets are beat to carnation! As in WOW do they look bad and lots of damage... the one door on the south of the house is all busted up and really should be replaced... and the window in the book room with the crack...why the crack isn't just a crack, the inside layer of the double pane window is all busted up with bits falling out!

So what.... the carpet was THAT old and dirty I never noticed the rest???? :idunno

And the new floor isn't even in yet...but the concrete floor is just so.... clean...

Floor installer said that happens all the time... the floor looks nice... so now the rest of the house issues are more obvious.

I kind of worry.... the new floor will look so much better than the concrete... once the new floor is in..maybe we will have to redo all of the rest of the house. :lau :he
One of the reasons we ended up not changing the color of the house was that the modern, pretty color made the roof tiles look old and worn. Not replacing the roof... ergo, not replacing the paint.

Dang.
But on the positive side, bald is a good look for most guys! I've been married to one for almost 30 years - His hair was really thin in college, so he just git rid of the stragglers. My hair gets gray...he shaves his gray off. Somehow that's not quite right.

"Medicine is not an exact science." Welcome to the BBC club - bald by choice. Yours will eventually grow back - mine, what is there, will not be allowed to do so. I use a wash rag to comb my hair/head.
Yeah, supposedly several weeks after the final chemo treatment, whenever that is. Wasn't really by choice; tired of dropping hair all over myself, the furniture, & in the sink.

When my mom was dying of cancer, losing her hair upset her the most. So I shaved all mine off and actually liked it. It makes eyes really show up.Scared a few friends into near heart attacks till I got to explain it to them.

Then I just started cutting it to less than an inch in length. Great, it was dry before I got out of the shower and I didn't need to comb it. Plus no wind resistance when walking.

When my hair went completely silver I decided to let it grow in. It's past my shoulders now. I want to find some charity that would like it - to make a wig for someone who needs it.

I would like to say something but there isn't really anything I can say that is going to help.
I do hope the chemo works for you.
