I'm back! Did y'all miss me?
Been busy like the rest of you.
Road trip to the Onc. Still in remission :bun
Chickens still not laying and somebody's leaving their feathers everywhere! Thought the molt was almost over, guess not.
Crunchy this morning. Rain barrels froze solid. Time to kick em all over I guess. Supposed to get above freezing for the weekend then snow next week. It's that time.
My brain still functions!!! :wee
Spent part of my last census paycheck on a great deal on a new TV to replace the older one in the livingroom while I had the funds. Moved the old TV into the bedroom to replace the REALLY old one in there. Here comes the brain function part. Both old TVs were connected to the Dish hopper/DVR (and remote Joey) and each other thru the router as well as hardwired to the satellite . I managed all the switching, recabling, reprogramming and remote setups (drumroll please) WITHOUT A HITCH! :clap And all by myself. (Hubby, who can fix anything with a motor disappears when it comes to computer/electronic stuff) And, ran new wires for the landline phone while I was at it. Not bad for a senior citizen with chemo brain :lau. Still need to download the manual for the new TV (of course there was zero documentation in the box except "plug in here and follow instructions on screen" which told me to go to Vizio.com and download the manual :smack)

Good job Chicki on all fronts....

Well I got the oven fixed... The new igniter I bought off Amazon was $12..... The part to buy at the store was over$100..... Now I'm all for buying local and supporting the local economy.... But I can't bring myself to pay 800 percent over what I can buy online.
Heck I had to get the dang thing fixed.... Couldn't even make my weekly batch of brownies. It's alright though I made NO BAKE cookies.....

Beautiful sunny day today. Fixed my mom's car yesterday..... She was getting ready to pay $150 to get her exhaust fixed....I bought the pipes and welded then on for about $15.
Garage isn't finished but it's finished enough that I can stay dry and weld even when it's raining..... Hope everyone is well today.

My north garden fence....is leaning... turns out every single huge and heavy log used as fence posts have finally rotted all of the way through.

Not sure I have any un-rotted posts to replace them with. I wonder if I can use t-posts....not sure if I have and straight ones..... hum
