In '66 a young guy I worked with asked to borrow my car to retake his driving test; afraid his clunker wouldn't pass inspection. So tired today.
Too much stress, so I had half a container of sour cream with potato chips.
But now I feel better. (Yep, mo tummy ache)
My first kid to get a full driver's liscence tests on Tuesday (kid 3). I have been telling him that he should ask to borrow Grandma's car.... but he said no.
I am not sure that the car that we drive will pass the look over by the DMV person.
So.... this might be a dry run.![]()
Having a bad night... girlfriend Is stressing.
Miss my old life.... found out more stuff about my wife i really didn't need to know.
Just plain sucks.....
In '66 a young guy I worked with asked to borrow my car to retake his driving test; afraid his clunker wouldn't pass inspection.
It all started when an elderly lady carrying groceries stepped of the median strip into the path of his car one evening as it was getting dark. He was pretty sure he'd hit her, but didn't see her anywhere, so figured the "bump" he'd felt had been something from the sack of groceries. As he pulled onto the parking lot of the bowling alley a few blocks away he heard something fall from the front end; turned out to be the body of the old lady. He'd been stopped for two lights since the accident, but no one had seen her hung up on the undercarriage.
He wasn't charged .
Always such learning experiences loaning carsAfternoon Pondites
Very trueMy experiences in doing so have been mixed for sure - bottom line is that it is not worth the anxiety caused by doing so.
