What better way to stay home than to start painting your house? Might be a tad chilly with a couple feet of snow on the ground, though, but gov't hasn't the right to make that decision.

I guess the logic employed here is that if they take away all non-essential reasons (excuses) to leave your home you will stay put. Buying paint and gas for your boat motor can wait until the quarantine is lifted. Our state had not only left all the boat landings, county and state parks open for non-group day use, they cancelled all the use fees. Of course because they also closed all the park offices and ranger stations, the low lifes around Milwaukee and Madison took that as their cue to hold parties in the parks and vandalize all the boat landings, trails and buildings etc. ruining it for the dog walkers, joggers, etc. because that ticked off our gov and he closed everything down, at least in the southern half of the state.

Same problem here in NJ. Some were using the parks as hangouts so our governor closed all state and county parks. Local parks opening were left up to local officials. Our township park is still open. Many county leaders are saying they should have control over the decision for their parks and the needed enforcement of guidelines. I understand that Murphy is getting tired of the actions of the 'jackasses' as he calls them, but he is also impacting the rule followers with his legislation.

Only the law abiding follow them, and get in trouble when they mess up.



The people causing all of the trouble in general keep running around and find new ways to cause trouble.

That's exactly it, the idiots ruin it for everyone. That's why they had to ban sales of everything non-essential here, because stupid people kept going to the stores to lollygag around and shop and browse instead of getting what they needed and getting out.

If people wouldn't be idiots, measures like that wouldn't be necessary, but what can you do. And I can attest that that definitely IS what was happening, because it's still happening in my feed store. Since it's a feed store, we aren't required to block off the stuff that other businesses have to deem non-essential and not sell. And every day we are selling up to 50% OVER estimated sales based on last year. So we have MORE business than usual, not less, because people won't just wait a month to do whatever that's not critical and stay home.

They put a stop to that here you do not go in and browse they come to your car .. Like the old A & W no ice skates I know of you say what your after .. our last trip to the one we go to little 70"s mustang II two gals wanted a bag of whatever feed .. not having the exacts brought her a bag of what they had .. they said what do we do if they don't like it..
