So many bored people!!

I don't know bored .If you sing a few bars might be able to join in.

I tried to call and cancel my plane flights ...

Well.. the puddle jumper has declared bankruptcy and will refund zero...


Big airline said "call back first week of May, if the shutdown is still going on, and you will get a full refund. If you cancel now, you will not get a full refund "

So I am going to think a bit.....

Winder though, maybe big airlines will all go bankrupt too.... so I get a partial refund now, forget zero later?

And the hotels and the ferry tickets?

Should I wait until the first week of May to call for all of them?

So remember the crash of 98 ? The feds bailed out the banks .Who did nothing for thier customers .Well nothing except repossess thier assets. They then sat on those assets until the market turned and made huge profits.So it will suprise me if the airlines go under .It would also suprise me if they have 50% of the investers they have now .Some one is waiting for thier stock to hit rock bottom and grab a large if not controlling interest .And most likely with borrowed money from the fed.I was just wondering who would be able to control the crash and the resurrection. Know all the secrets and deny they do .Sound like anybody you know?

I seriously doubt this thing will be over in two weeks. I might wait.

@Alaskan we are trying to get airline trip cancellation refunds on two trips - rather unsucssefully -

Integrity comes at a high price sometimes. Honesty is no longer required in buiness .

So DD is home .Son is mad because she came home.That twister got to close .Thier apartment complex had one building lose the intire roof .Autozone across the street completely destroyed. Sucked the siding off the building on the outside wall of DDs room.I talked to her this morning .She had no clue all that had happened right outside her door .10 people died .Not sure ho close those people were to her.I asked her how they could sleep through it .They didn't ,said it was very loud for a while the power went out .It got quiet and they went to sleep .No idea when the power will return .So till then her roommate is with her parents .DD is here .God blessed my baby with a longer life .

Why would your son not want your daughter to come home after that kind of "excitement" ?

Well, school begins online again today after our Easter break. Worked almost all day yesterday to get things ready to go.

Well, school begins online again today after our Easter break. Worked almost all day yesterday to get things ready to go.

My son teaches SpEd and is having a hard time with “distance learning”. His kids don’t all get the support they need to get their work done. My supervising teacher messaged her paras asking if we’d be willing to connect with our students via Zoom to help with homework, refresh skills, or just for socialization. Every one of us said yes. We miss our kids!

We got another couple inches of snow overnight, sigh.
We got 12" by Monday morning, poor Phil must have gotten buried again.
