I am debating putting it on the patio for the short term. I can hose it off for cleaning afterwards.

I got lost in a daydream thinking how glorious it would be to hose down the porch, but then I realized the birds couldnt scratch around or dust bathe on the porch.... Just food for thought.

Naw Id put down a dust bath and bedding. Remember they are going to my house in about three weeks or so. then they will have a very large area to claim as their own. lots of dust and bugs and shade and Fort Knox security.

We talked to the neighbor down the street & it turns out last weekends riots were a huge group of high school graduates. She said 100+ drunken 18yos cruising the street. She said they’d get to one end of the block & turn around, back & forth all night. I only heard the last couple hours of it apparently. She said it had gone on all night, screaming, cussing, fighting, street racing, crashing their cars into each other.... Behold, the future generation.
