Which of your breeders have you shown?
And most of your breeds are rare... the shows that you have been to, are there others of the same breed?

I would guess that pigeons are a huge thing... are they? The ko shamos have all been shown. It varies whether any other kos are there from other breeders. The first year I showed them yes, last year no.
I've also shown my pigeons, and this year I was gonna show my Calls, but since there aren't any shows, that hasn't worked out, lol.

I have never been to a real show... just our local county fair.
Oh! A breed lust list!!!
Everyone chime in!
I know - I have no imagination! I like simple, basic birds. Don’t really know much about the rare ones, and have no interest in the froo-froo ones.Ah!
Penciled is a neat color pattern. Wyandottes come in a Partridge that is a nice red penciled.
I am also very fond of Sussex.
But.... your list is so short!

That’s no good! I hope you can get that resolved soon.sorry I've been falling way behind on the posts - had a sinus headache attack every day since Sunday. Figured out IT decided IT did not like air conditioning or the ceiling fan. Have to have a sheet over my face when ether are running, so I don't have the headache.![]()
I just got my first chickens in about eight years.
a Creme Legbar, Black Laced Wyandott, And a Delaware Roo.
Thanks to @room onthebroom She and her husband brought them up from Vista. Big change in Temperature. here it was 105 degrees when we got them settled. The Cage is on the back patio and is in Full shade most of the day. They will stay here for at least two weeks before I bring them up to the house. Getting acclimatized.
The hens are two years old and the roo is about ten weeks old. you cant see it from the picture but he is taller than the girls by about four inches.

Roomies Husband built the perches and they came armed with everything from nest box to dust bath.
For what its worth Here close to the coast the temperatures are the same as up in the High Desert. A big difference in humidity though.
My son put cardboard down to protect their feet the concrete is Textured so it doesnt get slippery.
Oh and that roo still hasnt started crowing. but I see hackle feathers on his neck. Hes on the bottom of the pecking order for now. A good place for a young roo.
