Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

So went for my dr.visit ,He thinks I have a banign tumor ,on my thyroid .Have to call in the morning to see when the screening will be.Said if it is really small then we would watch it.If it lights up big then temove it. All he did was increased the amount of vitamin D I take .Bone density is fine so far .While DD is here I am trying to get as much taken care of as possible .Got dentist on thursday @7am.Just go go go.Just pulled the liner out of Ben's pool.Try to beat the storms heading for the gulf shore .
Man, don't wear yourself out.

Nice that you are getting the medical taken care of.

Y'all have no problems with overheated dogs? I had to bury one around Dallas, PA years ago cause he insisted on continuously jumping around on the chain gang and overheated himself

Good evening, Pond Preciousness.

My dogs are heat conditioned, but on days like today (93 F) I am particularly careful. Kenneled in the shade, hydrated, kept in the shade until it is their turn to run. Dogs did well today - Will won the 13" class and Cry was back high in the 15" class but did not place. His bracemate in 2nd series went batstuff crazy, and Cry is only a 16 month old pup who was unable to handle him. I was very proud of both of them.

Good evening everyone :frow
Had to make an unexpected trip into town today (the one with 2 stoplights!) I was able to snatch up a bunkbed set off our county swap/rummage sale page last night for $45. It just happened to pop up in my feed and I jumped on it and for once was first. Just a simple metal frame one with full bed on bottom and single on top. Frame is white and in nearly perfect shape, just a minor touch up in a place or two from being dismantled. Great thing is the bottom mattress is a brand new memory foam Serta. (The top is an older mattress that weighs a ton and will be heading for the dump tomorrow). We've been looking for a deal on a set to put in the extra bedroom (aka my craft room) for when we get invaded by the deer hunters. We didn't want to spend a lot for something that will, maybe, get used once a year. Even with buying a new mattress for the single bunk, we've still got a great deal.

Long as we were in town anyway we stopped at the bank and the Menard's (kind of like Lowe's) to pick up some shelving for my new garden shed. Going into town is a bit like entering the twilight zone. Worse since the gov declared an emergency and made a state wide mask mandate. Everyone is so quiet. No store workers nor individual dare not wear masks since there is a toll free number to call to report violations to the health department and there's always that "person" who just lives to catch a business or individual in violation of any distancing or mask rule. I'm waiting for someone to have a sale on soilent green! Couldn't wait to get home and back to the normal world.

Some of our local businesses have signs on the door that say, in part, “if you are in our store and not wearing a mask, we will assume you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing one, and we will welcome your business”.
Good morning, Perps of the Pond. I plan on spending the day lounging on my lily pad and reestablishing my body's resources. Color me tired. I may have been more tired than I was yesterday, but can't remember when.
Rest, relax, and enjoy the game today, Sour!
