We finally got above freezing today, so I was able to get out and do some chores. Cleaned one chicken coop... deep litter was deeper than deep!
Also finished a pigeon box that I started before winter. Now I have 3 pairs already on eggs, so this new box has 4 more nest bowls. They were quick to check it out and call dibs. (Not my normal quality craftsmanship,
used a bunch of leftover pieces, but they said they didn’t mind. Lol)

Beautiful bright sunshine on my lily pad this morning, and a forecast high of 43. It may take me just a little bit longer to do chores this morning. I’m sure there’s something I absolutely have to do out there today.

It’s been a dry winter here. I don’t think we have even a foot of snow on the ground.

He is beautiful!

I don't have a rooster and don't want one, but I love seeing them. Most roosters are gorgeous.
