I am originally from Texas, now live in Alaska... married... uh.... 24 years.

5 boys, 22 to 12.

Homeschooled them all... now only teaching youngest 3. Eldest is back at home, kid #2 was doing college from home (his college went 100% online with covid) but is now doing college from the in-laws house. Turns out they need more help than we realized, so he takes care of them.

I used to have a bunch of different critters ... but keep pairing down as general costs keep increasing and my income keeps decreasing.

We now have 2 feeder pigs, a dog, 2 Parrots, and some chickens.

My chickens are bantam Wheaton Ameraucana in their own coop, and the Leghorns and Spitz with a few muts in a big coop.

I do NOT remember you having pigs!

We finally got above freezing today, so I was able to get out and do some chores. Cleaned one chicken coop... deep litter was deeper than deep!
Also finished a pigeon box that I started before winter. Now I have 3 pairs already on eggs, so this new box has 4 more nest bowls. They were quick to check it out and call dibs. (Not my normal quality craftsmanship,
used a bunch of leftover pieces, but they said they didn’t mind. Lol)

And I snapped some pics of my yard birds. I’m loving this white bantam Phoenix rooster.

I was outside enjoying a balmy 60 degree evening trying to watch my littles after I had moved their "mowing tractor" to a new spot... but my dog was so intent on eating all the little poops they left in the old spot that it took just a bit of the enjoyment out of it.
