Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Good idea she had though.. I have used oatmeal cooked in chicken broth or beef when birds are moulting hard, put a bit of nutri drench in it.
the purpose of the dry oatmeal is to supply fiber that will actually have absorbency which regulates the "plumbing" and stops the pasty butt. This was the way it was explained to me by the vet.

Alrighty, good night pond. This 'spring forward' could make for some cranky -or just sleepy- kiddos tomorrow. But March is moving along (usually it's the slowest month ever!) and Easter vacation will be here before we know it!
Orr, don't cook the oatmeal. read my response to Penny. The reason it works is connected to it being DRY oatmeal.

Good Morning, Pond!
Winter is trying to make a comeback on my lily pad as well. Only 1-3” predicted, just enough to make the roads a slushy, sloppy mess.

Skunk #4 is in the live trap, waiting for me to come home and release it. It needs to have its lead deficiency problem taken care of before release. Yesterday I had a very angry feral cat in my trap. I’ve never seen it on the place before. I’m guessing I probably won’t see it again. I released it back into the wild (opened the trap and let it out right where it was) without attempting to make a pet out of it.

Happy Monday, everyone!
