I have to admit, I was not expecting to see barring, even if it is very faint, on this chick. Odd seeing it with lacing and barring.

Doing a unique test a member believes in thread sexing eggs .. Goes back and forth roo, 8 eggs yesterday 3 roos 5 pullets.. Anyone want to join?

That's what I was thinking. Maybe there was some of that in the lines a few generations ago.

I still have Ayam Cemani black pigmentation show up - and a few muffs, tufts, crests, and beards - in my barnyard mixes. It is crazy how long these genes can seem to be dormant - then - all of a sudden...!!!
