Often spider Mom's have died after they have them and yes children eat mom to stay alive

We are safe here. Only negative is possible cellar flooding. Deluge has turned to a more gentle rainfall. I find myself wondering what happens if these precipitation patterns continue into the winter. That would mean a LOT of sky dandruff.

Hey all. Just one more day to this crazy week. Big fire in NE Redding right now (Fawn Fire because it started at Fawndale Road). A bunch of our school families were evacuated. I so so so feel their pain.

Going to be close to 100 today. Thankfully the winds have lessened, but the Fawn fire keeps growing. It's not near us, (northeast of us) but it's a reminder that we are all one spark away from the same fate. It's just SO dry and hot (again) here.
