Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

@room onthebroom: DH wanted me to send you a couple of more pictures of what soybeans look like when they’re ready to harvest. (We went over to my mom’s to look at something and he told me to grab my phone. On the way home, he stopped at a bean field and told me to take a picture of the plants for you.) I know it’s hard to see with all the field trash in the background, but I told him I’d send them to you.

I just survived the first half of my Constitution course. Didn't exactly ace my midterm but I passed. At my age I consider that a win. Just a bit humbling for someone who once carried a 4.0 gpa in about everything but apparently that required a much younger brain  I'm happy tho, knowing how blessed I am to have my brain still functioning at all after the prior 9 years of chemo.
Good for you for even taking the class! I am still impressed.
I think knowing it isn't the end of the world to not get straight As is good for him.
I agree

Good morning pond! Last day of babysitting my boss's flock and cats. We're still busy as ever with band/ football games since we made the playoffs, the fall play, and now gearing up for winter sports (both kids start swim team soon).

You have a very busy household! I loved the chaos of busy kids.
I'm glad puppers is doing better! That's wonderful news!

Today we dive back in to dog ownership. It's been a couple years since our last dog passed and we've become a cat house. We used to have 3 dogs, now we have 3 cats. It's definitely going to be a huge adjustment all around. Smores is a German Shephard/ golden retriever mix and was my BIL's dog but they need to make some adjustments in their house in order to get a service dog for their son. I'm hoping she adjusts well. They say she has an aggressive/ temperamental side but we've never seen it. Hopefully everything will go smoothly and everyone will adjust to each other. Wish us luck!
🤞🏻all goes well with the new dog.

Tonight is mischief night. That meant something in NJ, but no one around here has ever heard of it. 😲 I am glad I got to have a cool childhood.
I have never heard of it before today.
Morning Pond sitting here today is the Son's 39th Birthday!
Happy Birthday to your son!

:hugs You poor thing. I don’t suggest wasting toilet paper on people’s trees, but I’m sure you have enough eggs to break in mailboxes and against houses.
Yes! I can totally egg houses, passing cars, annoying kids….

TPing houses and trees definitely happened when I was a kid, but those who participated in such activities didn’t need a special night to do it.

Thanks! That is so nice! 😍 Please thank him for me. (I was gonna hit the informative emoji but the emoji police are so fussy about that.) So, I’m guessing edamame is just an unripe soy bean? I need to research this.

Hey, there's toilet paper on my lily pad. :rant
If it’s still dry, grab it & run.

I never heard of devils night till I met DH. I thought it was just a weird MI thing.
