Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Good for you for even taking the class! I am still impressed.

I agree

You have a very busy household! I loved the chaos of busy kids.

🤞🏻all goes well with the new dog.

I have never heard of it before today.

Happy Birthday to your son!

So far so good! Smores is here. She's very nervous and is clinging to my husband. I'm assuming he reminds her of my brother in law. Surprising, things are going totally different with the cats than I expected. Our oldest, Monro, could car less about the dog. He was raised around them and likes them so she doesn't bother him a bit. The two younger ones though had never met a dog before today. They're only 6 months old so they're young enough to adjust. Ollie has been doing the "Halloween cat" pose and actually challenging Smores! She's easily 100lbs and he's 8lbs lol. Ivy spent a lot of time hiding under our bed, but not as much a I thought she would. I think she saw her brother being brave and that have her a little confidence boost.

Here's Smores and one with Ollie keeping a close eye on her lol

Oh, I love her face! Hopefully the cats adjust quickly. I’m glad she’s not giving them a hard time.

The cat on the table isn’t cooked enough. You need to toss it back in.

Well, 12 fewer mouths to feed on the yard. I guessed one wrong (thought she wasn't laying anymore, found an egg during processing - ugh - one of my least favorite things) but it's over and the freezer is fairly full again.

Good work! I hate finding eggs when we process, too. My broiler pullets are laying now, but they’re going to be processed before winter anyway.
