Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Now you all have me worried about my crown! I've been happy with it since I got it 2 years ago but now I'm all paranoid that I'm going to break it or something lol!

We successfully made it down the mountain to my parent's house for the night. DH and DD will be holding down the fort at home. They've canceled all after school activities for today and already canceled in person school for tomorrow. They made sure to throw in that it WILL be a virtual day though. DD is not thrilled about it. I actually have to call the school to let them know that DS won't be attending classes tomorrow so he doesn't get all sorts of demerits for missing virtual class  That just sounds so weird!

Oh, I hope everyone recovers ok and everything ends up being ok! I'm a little less stressed today but a neighbor of mine asked me to do a big project for her so I have the Cricut running, cutting out iron-on stuff for a bunch of t-shirts. And saddles as in hen saddles...

Nice store! And that’s a bunch to make and sell. Good for you!

Glad to see you made it safely off the mountain. I’m right on the line of rain/ice. Only rain right now, but supposed to turn to ice in a couple hours. :(

Teeth :barnie, and I have a good dentist. Had a crown on a root canal bust off several weeks ago. First I had to get the abscessed root canal under control (that was on another tooth) - semi accomplished. On the 10th he's going to work on the broken crown. When he looked at it he said something like, "Hope we can save that tooth as it's broken off right at the gum line. No, I don't eat rocks. Stuff just happens to my teeth. I don't want to spend lots of money. I don't mind that hole way back in my mouth. :idunno
I have a few crowns! And not the good Princess kind.
I got an abscess under a crown once, he had to drill thru the crown and then fill it, (said he would eventually replace it) but apparently didn’t get it all, so he ended up drilling a hole the size of a pencil into the side of my gum to get under it! That was years ago and that crown is still filled.
Got a couple new crowns last year, friggin expensive. Even with insurance, I’m still paying my portion off because I had to put it on a credit card.

We’ve had so much rain and melting snow the past couple of days, the drain in my yard filled up again. The ducks had a blast!

He actually redid the root canal and put me on antibiotics. There is no longer pain or pressure in that tooth , but periodically I pop a small abscess on the inner part of my upper jaw. I'm hoping that I will not have to go to an oral surgeon.

I pray the antibiotics work for you. I found the upper work to be more painful than the lower.

Theres something wrong with the new crown I just got last year. :hitI blame the terrible caramel/cheddar popcorn DH bought from Costco with the break your teeth, rock hard kernels.

Sooo I’m going to a new, NEW Dentist tomorrow. Well, he’s new to me. My kids have been going to him for a little over a year & he seems pretty great. Fingers crossed! :fl:fl

I broke one of mine about a month ago.

My dentist did the bone graft for an implant later.

Good luck!

Do you use Care Credit?

My dentist office introduced it to me.

You charge your dental with a time frame to pay it off without interest.

Works real good.
