Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Good Evening, Pond!
It was a beautiful day on the prairie today! High of 78, low humidity and light breeze. We had the local grandkids today so their parents could have a Mommy and Daddy day. I don’t know about the parents, but we had fun. They “helped” Grandpa build his deer stand, played in the sandbox, picked eggs… We hadn’t seen them for a couple of weeks, so we were missing them.

Ladder Girl’s dad sent me this the other day…

Good evening pond! I have around 85 eggs in the incubator that are set to hatch tomorrow/Wednesday, a ton of cherry tomatoes that need picking, another 75 eggs at least that need setting at the end of this week, and I'm about to start planting zucchini, lettuce, and probably some turnips. I also have 8 lbs of okra to pickle, another 5 lbs of tomatoes to dice and can, and about 35 lbs of peaches to make into jam or slice and can. Over the course of the last 5 days I have done around 25 lbs of peaches into jam, 2/3 lbs of snap beans canned, and a LOT of diced tomatoes. Send help 🤣🤣
